Love Aaj Kal

Be it for the name of the movie...the songs..the cast or simply the genre - Rom Com...i was quite excited to watch love aaj kal..and thankfully it did not disappoint me.Though i got few messages to warn me against it but the stubborn girl that i am , went against it all and watched it.And i really loved the movie...not because it was earthbreakingly different but because it made me believe in the existence of soul mates yet again........funny as it may sound but that is what a good rom com should do.
We see a lot of romantic movies with a happy ending..but not all make an impact on our life..or on our actions...may be it has to do with the phase of life you are in..in school days..DDLJ had nothing to do with my life..so i found it nice but quite unrealistic.LAK is also a bit unrealistic but i dont know why i found myself thinking after watching the movie.I am wondering about the existence of soul mates..do they really exist?How do you know who is your soul mate?What if u marry the wrong person and then realise or find out who your soul mate is?You can not walk out of a marriage so simply in real life even if you realise that you have made a wrong choice.

And what if you never meet your soul mate in life?What if you never feel he is the one made for you..he is the one you want to spend rest of your life with...Or what if you meet him and he is already taken?Out of your reach?Should you settle down with someone less than what you are looking for...or should you wait...wait till...you never know.

Reality shows

Resuming writing after a long time...was busy with too many things i can say...I have always been a couch potato..i dedicate many hours in a day to the idiot box..and these days reality shows have caught my fancy.Though my friends hate to digest it still I do admit that I am following Rakhi Sawant's swayamwar diligently.Yes I can give you an account of most of the participants and the tasks they had to perform to win Rakhi's heart and whatever went wrong or right for them.The show is definitely one of its kind..and being the media baby that rakhi is...she has just revamped the fortunes of long lost NDTV imagine.I mean a couch potato like me is watching imagine after a long time...never watched anything on it after Oye its friday got over.
Next show i want to talk about is sach ka samna hosted by the handsome Rajeev Khandelwal.I admit again...that i watched the first episode for rajeev...was badly missing him on small screen...but was glued to the show for some other reason when i saw it.Sometimes it is difficult to understand human behaviour.I dont really understand why anyone would reveal a well-kept family secret on national tv for money...and that too nobody is sure to win....so at the end you lose the so called prize money...and of course the trust of near and dear ones.
Now with lots of topics and time to talk ... will keep writing time and again..till then enjoy the reality shows..........

Writing a Daily Diary

It is such a nice feeling to be able to write a daily diary.Kind of luxury i guess...After all a well maintained diary is a documentation of one's life.I started writing daily diary during my school days and kept the habit till.....I could afford to be honest enough to write EVERYTHING in my diary ;-) Say till second year of my college.Then there comes a phase in everyone's life when things are so complex that you can not even find words to write them.Things you have to be secretive about...things you can share and discuss with close ones but can not leave a written proof of it all.Thankfully that phase is over and now once again I am living comparatively simple,hassle-free life and I can afford to write a daily diary.So do you write a daily diary?? honestly??

Rain rain go away...

Isnt it surprising how raindrops start falling at the worst of times..when you are about to leave for a party, you are getting late and have to reach somewhere as soon as possible and yes..when you are wearing your nicest clothes and brand new footwear.There are 100 reasons why I dont like rain and one of them is that it just spoils all your programmes.I pray the Rain Gods to have some mercy and leave some special occassions unaffected :)

Cant believe that Federer lost

Its been hours still I can't believe that Roger Federer has lost the Wimbledon final against Nadal.It was such an exciting match and it was just great the way Federer bounced back after losing the first sets.Being a die-hard Federer fan,I was waiting for Federer to win with crossed fingers when the unthinkable happened .............Nadal finally converted the championship point in victory and it was all over.The feeling is not yet sinking and I think it wont for days to come.... :(

How to save money?? This question is very popular and more so now with the inflation moving upwards day by day.I have noticed a strange tendency in myself nowdays to read all articles related to financial matters and watch all programmes on TV related to safe investment. Isn't it strange how media can make a happy-go-lucky type person like me to think about her future.News related to inflation and price-rise are so hyped that even a layman is worried about his money.But views expressed through various media are so contradictory that at the end, one gets even more confused.Elders say old fashioned modes to invest money are always a safe bet and peers say that at this age we should take more risks to make more money.Amidst all this I stand really confused about money management and keep asking myself one question..How to save money??

Working on Sunday

Oh god!! it is so boring to be in office on Sunday and that too in evening .........Though I must admit I did not work that hard today.I did eveything I could do at home..chatting,checking mail,gossiping and yes eating all the time .I wonder is it bad to be in office on Sunday or good because people hardly work in office on Sunday.It is like a day without work in office :) You can come to office,you can show to the world how hardworking you are ( coming to office on sunday) and still can have great weekend.what else you want??
